The Good Conduct Medal is a service award for enlisted personnel in the Imperial Armed Forces who serve for a full term without receiving any disciplinary actions or reprimands on their service record, and who create a general impression of being a good and reliable service-member. The Good Conduct Medal is not awarded to officers, as officers are expected to set an example of good conduct to their subordinates.
