Gauntlet-class Courier

Gauntlet-class couriers are the elite ships of the Third Empire of Gashikan’s Ministry of Information and Safety. These vessels were secretly purchased in the Third Imperium; they are actually converted Beowulf class Free Traders with most of the cargo space and two of the staterooms replaced by additional engines and fuel tanks. Although they still appear to be ordinary trading vessels, they are actually capable of jump-4.

The MIS uses these vessels to carry information and personnel between worlds of the Empire.
