TL-12 Extra eye S variant

A small, lightweight, cheap, disposable sensor drone used for system surveys. A small folding solar cell array provides normal power for operation supplemented by a 1 MWs powercell.

Sensor is a combination of radio and broad spectrum electromagnetic scanner, giving sensor coverage from long wavelength radio to the far ultraviolet. This gives a good initial system survey, and the ability to note any anomalies which require more detailed analysis.

The low thrust (0.005 G) covers 1AU (150m km) in a little over 40 days, and 10 AU in 128 days.

Crew: 0 total. 0 crew stations covering vehicle maneuvering system, communicator, sensor.

TL12 Extra eye R variant

A small, lightweight, cheap, disposable sensor drone used for system surveys. A small, short duration, unshielded RTG powers the on board equipment.

Sensor is a combination of radio and broad spectrum electromagnetic scanner, giving sensor coverage from long wavelength radio to the far ultraviolet. This gives a good initial system survey, and the ability to note any anomalies which require more detailed analysis.

The low thrust (0.022 G) covers 1AU (150m km) in a little over 19 days, and 10 AU in 61 days.

Crew: 0 total. 0 crew stations covering vehicle maneuvering system, communicator, sensor.

Subassemblies: Vehicle -4, Body -4.

P&P: 0.014-kW RTG (14 year duration; no access space), 0.08 lbs. thrust standard thruster (no access space).
