Centralate Famous class Fighter

The K'Chemi Centralate planet of CHAM has manufactured 540 of these streamlined flattened saucer structured hulls over the years. They can deploy from the Centralate Glory class Fleet Tenders. They are capable of 6G acceleration and 6 agility from the three pylon engine nacelles which sweep back from the disc fuselage. They carry the maximum possible armor and have a triple missile turret. The tiny cargo bay serves as a missile magazine for additional ordinance. A long duration version with less armor and a small craft stateroom for the crew is in the planning stages. There is an empty acceleration couch on the bridge adjacent to the undersized model 2 computer which struggles with target locks against more advanced computer's ECCM. This spot is occasionally filled with a mission specialist or observer. The thick hull armor contributes to the design's high price tag, but renders the craft all but immune to conventional ground fire when pressed into a close support role.
