J897-2213-122 is a minor asteroid in the Belt.

J897-2213-122 is an unusual asteroid in that it was once a Comet. As a result it is mostly water-ice. The owner has leased the surface for residential and light-industrial purposes, and will only sell the ice itself to residents as drinking water or to split for oxygen. The resulting hydrogen supply is small - much smaller than the volume that could be made and sold given a fully commercial mining operation.
The asteroid supports a community of about 1000 including school and medical facility. There is a police station operating a small skiff and a government house for local administration - mostly related to the distribution of state-pensions and collection of mails. It also acts as a government assay office.
The main external working income of the station is in the form of chandlery and supplies and claims administration.
