The Kazama Dynasty is, perhaps, an overstatement of their influence, but they have become significantly more powerful as a result of their alliance with the Adok Dynasty via Shiori Teruko Kazama and are one of the more thrusting of the up-and-coming families. Their rise in the belt has been guided by the eldest son, Denji, since the loss of both his parents in 286. The suggestion that the parents were killed because of their competence seem to have backfired by allowing Denji a free hand.
Denji Kazama ascended to the role of head of the family in 288 when his elder sister (Tsukiko) vanished too.
