Humans (Specifically Homo Sapiens Spaiens) were the only form of intelligent life in the New Earth System, having arrived on the fleet. They are NOT native, having evolved in the Sol System on Old Earth.
Recently, there has been the uplift of Dolphins through genetic engineering, which has broken that monopoly position.
