Campaign:NHNE/General/Threefield Waffles

Threefield was a settlement in Walthersland that was the first to plant potatoes - and their first season was an incredible success to the extent that they became so abundant that the entire New Earth colony was eating potatoes with every meal for weeks. Indeed they were forced to dump over half the crop for lack of takers. The area around Threefield is still populated with potato plants, and they are still famous for their crop.

This supply of potatoes saw their staple food becoming the "Threefield Waffle". Initially manufactured in local houses, an enterprising individual deep-froze them in an old cryochamber and shipped them about the globe - the foundation of the W-Foods brand.
