Arabic was a language that should probably not have arrived in the New Earth System and only did so due to an administrative change that saw a small middle-eastern group travel aboard the Hope. After several moves, this group's descendants settled on Sapphire. Arabic is still the everyday language of several influential families based in West Sapphire and of that country outside the main cities.
