The Sulphur War of the 272 to 278 is one of the few armed conflicts to have taken place in the New Earth System and was a multi-way fight by inter-planetary corporations over a major sulphur strike that turned out to be bogus. The result was recognition of the claims authority as the Government of Sulphur by the majority of the other Governments in the system. The New Heaven Government is an exception to this.
