Toolkits come in two main categories:
- Generic Toolkits
- Specific Toolkits
Generic Toolkits[edit]
Generic Toolkits provide the basics for a skill to be used effectively. They will probably have a tool that could be used for any task within the skill's range - but the right tool is inevitably missing. Adjustable wrench rather then 20mm plug-spanner
Specific toolkits[edit]
Each item of equipment will have an associated specific toolkit. This has the right tool for the job and for that item is far superior to the generic toolkit. But, try to use it on another piece of equipment and the benefit is less clear.
