The Overlook Restaurant is famous as one of the places for Inter-Planetary Transport Captains to meet for business purposes, and to unwind from the pressures of their role with their equals. It is also a place where various cargo agents are likely to appear when seeking Captains and their ships for particularly difficult jobs.
The Restaurant has a reputation for efficient service and excellent connections to administrative and legal services.
It is open 24 hours a day. Tables at the Overlook Restaurant, in the Captain's Lounge are usually taken by the hour; those in the Agents Lounges for longer periods - usually 6 months or a year - with options to renew at the end of each period.
The restaurant has a limited space and the rules regarding who may take a table are quite strict.
