An Atmospheric sponge is an advanced technological nanofoam that scrubs the atmosphere of irritants, bacteria, most viruses, and harmful gases. It requires a power source to operate, supporting up to 100 tons of life support for one year before needing maintenance. Primarily sold on the starship and space station market, it also can be used in the housing, vehicle and terraforming industry.
