Born Angus Ranald Hall in -322, second son of Colin I and Princess Janine.
Unlike his father, Angus was an adventurer. He launched the colonization of Dunbarton in -261, and became the first Caledonian ruler to travel in interstellar space in -259, visiting the Dunbarton colony.
After Reaver attacks on Dunbarton and Caledon in -258, Angus ordered and commissioned the first system and starships of what would become the Royal Caledon Navy.
Angus died in -255 under circumstances regarded as suspicious; he never married. He was succeeded by his younger brother Stuart.
