System Data

Parsalax System

The primary is Parsalax, an orange bright giant star. It has a luminosity of 890 Sols, a mass of 11 Sols, and a diameter of 75.1 million km – the corona extends to 0.25 AU, beyond orbital position (I). The inner system consists of (II) a very hot small gas giant, (V) a trace atmosphere inner world, (VII) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world, (VIII) a sparse stony planetoid belt, and (IX) a dense stony planetoid belt – orbital position (I) lies within the star and orbital positions (III), (IV) and (VI) are empty. (X) a large gas giant orbits within the habitable zone: it retains (Xc) a thin atmosphere hospitable moon and (Xd) a very thin atmosphere hospitable moon. (XI) a small gas giant forms the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Mainworld Data

No world within the system has been designated the mainworld.

Mainworld Geography and Topography

Native Lifeforms

The inner hospitable moon orbiting the large gas giant lying in orbital position (X) (within the habitable zone) has extensive, abundant native life, with complex organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

The outer hospitable moon orbiting the large gas giant lying in orbital position (X) (within the habitable zone) has extensive native life, consisting of multicellular organisms and stromatolite-parallels that can be found in almost every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
