Built for the Anubian Trade Coalition, this is a system defense monitor used to stop invading warships. They are built from a buffered asteroid hull for camouflage, free armor and low cost. They have the best spinal mounted meson gun available at this technology level. They carry rudimentary screens, a repulsor bay and fourteen batteries of triple sand caster turrets for defense. Offensively they carry a pair of heavy missile bays, a particle accelerator bay for use against vacuum targets, twelve fusion gun batteries for point defense and twelve triple beam laser batteries. Adjacent to the bridge is a model 6 fib computer. They are capable of 6 Gs acceleration but have limited agility. Because of their dedicated system defense role they do not mount jump drives. They have their own fueling shuttle, four launches and four air rafts for space to surface interface. The large cargo bay is occasionally converted to allow marine barracks and/or fighter hangars.
