The Order of Fusion is an Imperial Order of Knighthood normally bestowed in recognition of accomplishments in the sciences and mathematics.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The subdivisions of the Order of Fusion are [1]:

  • Knight/Dame Grand Cordon of the Order of Fusion (G.C.F.)
  • Knight/Dame Companion of the Order of Fusion (K.C.F. / D.C.F.)
  • Companion of the Order of Fusion (C.F.)
  • Member of the Order of Fusion (M.F.)

The Badge of the Order is 'a representation of the isotope of iridium with two electrons in orbit in the outer shell'. The field is colored differently based on the field of science of the member; physical sciences is indicated by a 'sable' field, social sciences by a field of 'azure,' while mathematics is indicated by a field of 'gules'. The Headquarters of the Order are located on Capital, just off the campus of the [[Imperial Sylean University] ]. The facility has extensive lecture halls and hosts many functions every year, celebrating academic achievements or other educational triumphs. The Order publishes a biweekly journal, Diimshamim Geshrug, which reports on research performed by members in a wide variety of disciplines. The journal is provided for free to members; non-members must pay Cr5,000 a year for a subscription. [2]
