Prince Colin IX, the Sovereign Prince of the Principality of Caledon, died on 226-1023 at age 67. A lifelong bachelor, he died without an heir. This led in part to the Dynastic Crisis, which broke out the next year, leading to a limited but fierce war between would-be successors.
