Magera Subsector

The Magera subsector is named after Zento Magera, who created the first bio-computer circuits. His innovative designs allowed systems to reach unprecedented speeds and minimal sizes.

This became a major factor in the last 150 years, with the massive workforce reduction caused by The Winnowing. The use of robotics and artificial intelligence systems, powered by bio-computers, to take over many mundane tasks allowed Varan society to survive in the face of crippling manpower losses during and following the Winnowing.
