The Trudeth Gap subsector is named after a famous landmark on Varan. On Varan, the gap is a pair of roughly parallel breaks in the planetary crust. The sector gap is a pair of parallel gaps requiring jump-2 drives to fully cross the sector.

No Varan presence exists in this system, save that of automated early warning probes.
