Adele is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Ushra Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector in the Domain of Vland.
- During the Long Night this world was named Diim.
Description (Planetology)
Adele is one of the important agricultural exporters of Ushra.
- The most productive areas are the temperate latitudes: in between the large desert equatorial regions and the transient polar ice-caps.
Point of Interest: Miagrathe
Another potentially rich agricultural world lies deep within the Adele system. Miagrathe orbits at 0.4 AUs around the tight pair of M-class stars that are the far companions of the central star, Agran. Miagrathe (Y556000-0) has yet to be extensively surveyed despite the attentions of the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service looking for suitable worlds with colonization potential.
- Recent speculation that Sternmetal Horizons has made overtures to the subsector government for the purchase of Miagrathe has sent a number of hopefuls off to the planet in search of valuable ores.
