At the leading end of 2m wide swathes tramped through the vegitation is something that looks like a cylinder of vegitation as wide as the path and up to 2m in diameter. The cylinder rolls very slowly forwards, packing yet more vegitation against its body. From the ends, the colour can be seen to be darker towards the centre.
Habitat: Large, relatively level prarie and open grasslands.
