The Telemon first appeared as a New Era design in 1248 Scout Ships by Comstar-Avenger in 2007. Two years later, as the Mongoose sunset clause began to take effect, Comstar-Avenger decided to use all of their New Era scout ships, including the Telemon, as Golden Age ships for Mongoose Traveller (1st Edition) under the Mongoose Traveller OGL. The result was the adventure "Spinward Salvage LIC".
