Narya is a high-population, industrial world located in Narya Subsector in Daibei Sector. The system is a member of the Imperium and contains a Scout Base.

Narya is ruled by a religious dictatorship called The Fellowship of Great Saints, headed by Grand Saint Grueller. The Fellowship somewhat successfully forces on the planet's teeming billions a strict conservative faith distantly descended from Evangelical Christianity. There is still much corruption and crime, however. Attempting to enforce religious law is a paramilitary force called The Saint's Army.

As with most worlds with more than 10 billion inhabitants, most Naryaians live in kilometers-long and kilometers-high arcologies, though Narya's are mostly over-crowded and falling apart. Side-by-side with these dwellings are the planet's extensive and poorly-regulated industrial complexes, which employ most of its population. These account for the world's tainted atmosphere.
