'Pre-Imperial' (Chronology) Synopsis
Abbreviation for 'Pre-Imperial', used to denote dates and (especially) centuries before Year 0, e.g. '12th Century PI' is the years from -1299 to -1200.
Dates are usually indicated by the use of the negative sign, but '1299 PI' is an acceptable alternative.
