Message definition (Imperial Calendar)
To distinguish, when required, the years in the Imperial Calendar from other dating systems the years would be marked with ''IC'' (for Imperial Calendar), ''IY'' (for Imperial Year), or ''TI'' (for Third Imperium). ''IC'' is preferred.
