Hawkling Synopis
The Hawklings are a primitive non-starfaring society of avianoid (bird-like) humanoids located on their homeworld of Ghostring.
Hawkling Physiology
Hawklings are 1.4 meters tall, with a creamy fur covering the head and thorax. Their large, protruding eyes have nictitating membranes, and the have thick, yellow tendrils at the lower corners of their mouths. These are used to hold food, and to manipulate close objects.
Hawkling Trophics
The Hawklings are carnivores, with sharp teeth, and their long arms end with a three digit and opposing digit on each hand; otherwise they are very humanoid.
Hawklings have also a developed a system of agriculture and raise grain foodstuffs as major component of their diet.
Hawkling Reproduction
Hawklings are sexually dimorphic with The females having a slightly smaller stature than the males. They reproduce by giving live birth to their young. The young are cared for by their parents in small family groups until the children are grown, usually about 12 to 15 standard years. The lifespan is about 50 standard years.

Hawkling technology is relatively primitive (TL 1 to TL 3) although some leading Hawkling thinker are on the cusp of discovering many TL 4 technologies.
