Grav Tank (Vehicles) Synopsis
Grav tanks are military vehicles and often fusion-powered behemoths armed with high-energy weapons.
In the most literal sense, Grav Tanks are Main battles Tanks (MBT's) although the civilian public often refers to all vehicles in military employ as "Grav Tanks" ibcluding all manner of Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFV's) and unarmored fighting vehicles (Softskins). Properly, the term "Grav Tank", in military parlance, only refers to MBT's.
Please see Gravcraft or Gravity control technology for more information.
Grav Tank (Vehicles) Description
Grav tanks can fly nape of earth and achieve orbit if sealed and the crew is provided with life support. The speed of these armored vehicles allows military forces to range over continents.
Grav Tank (Vehicles) History & Background (Dossier)
Grav tanks develop at tech level 9 when anti-gravity lift becomes available. They tend to be very expensive and can carry enough armor and point defense fire control to render them nearly immune to tactical missiles and HEAP warheads which are the predominant anti-armor weapons of lower technology levels.
