A better term for this would be "Hominoid", as it would:

  1. Fit the pattern of the rest of the entries more consistently with regard to the use of the suffix "-oid".
  2. Not conflict with the actual term Hominid ( = "Great Apes"), which is the proper term for a member of Family Hominidae in the Order Primata.
  3. Already be using the proper term for a member of the taxonomic Superfamilly Hominoidea in the Order Primata, whose members are properly referred to as "Hominoids" ( = "Apes" (all branches) ).
