The Net Gun is a bulky device designed for non-damaging capture of animals or people. It fires a self-expanding net of cut-resistant fibers out to a maximum range of 15m. Optionally, the net can have microbarbs or adhesive to make it cling to clothing or fur for enhanced effect.
At TL-10, nets are commonly coated with the same material used in Tranq rounds, in a skin-permeable carrier. In addition to the entrapment effect, this will cause the victim to become more passive or unconscious.
