A descriptor used in GURPS Traveller to denote average planetary temperate ranges. The descriptors are as follows:

| None | N/A | Usually associated with worlds without atmospheres. |
| Frozen | Below -30 | |
| Very Cold | -30 to -20 | |
| Cold | -20 to -5 | |
| Chilly | -5 to 5 | |
| Cool | 5 to 15 | |
| Normal | 15 to 25 | |
| Warm | 25 to 40 | |
| Tropical | 40 to 50 | |
| Hot | 50 to 60 | |
| Very Hot | 60 to 70 | |
| Infernal | 70+ | |
| Variable | N/A | Often reserved for worlds that have large variations in temperature due to eccentric orbits or significant axial tilts. |
