This page includes references to the various types of units found in the Caledonian Army at various technology levels.  

==Brigade Types==
The Caledonian Army's primary self-sustaining maneuver element is the Brigade.  On larger systems (and in the [[Intervention Force (Caledonian Military) | Intervention Force]], 3-7 Brigades will be formed into "Corps", with a Brigade-sized Corps headquarters "Group".  

===Grav/Mech Brigade (TL 11/12)===
Although the technology advanced between Tech Levels 11 and 12, the organization of Caledonian Grav/Mech units stayed the same.  The adoption of "Gravity Combat Vehicles" combining the "Tank" and "Infantry Carrier" roles led to the collapsing of both unit types into a single unit.

Again - while the technology advanced greatly between TL9 and TL12, the organization of the light ("Leg") infantry unit changed very little, except for the vehicle (if any) that transported them into battle; at TL9 it may have been trucks, helicopters or crude gravity sleds; at higher levels, it was more-advanced gravitic transports.
