  1. EXTERNAL LINK: GURPS Traveller Behind The Claw page 124-125 describes a pocket universe consisting of a now ignited gas giant and three moons, which was rotated out of the Regina system, with a secret portal back to the Regina system. Artificial humans from one of the moons have small observation post in Regni. Is this described or referenced anywhere else in canon? "Grandfathers Worlds," from Challenge 27, page 36

Grandfather's Possible Sons[edit]

Yaskoydray created life in his own image through the use of advanced genetic engineering techniques. Grandfather sired twenty children, each of whom had 20 children of their own who were all nearly as intelligent as Grandfather. With 420 offspring, Grandfather decided he had enough and stopped.

Final War Factions[edit]

It is unknown exactly how many factions there are. Some Droyne myths have become known and they hint at various factions. Two of the factions are commonly called by researchers:

It is not known why terms of kinship were used to name the factions although they have had had a kinship relationship. The mythical figure Yaskoydray may have led the Yaskoydrin and another figure called Draysaskay may have led the Draysaskin. Each side contained hundreds, perhaps thousands of separate factions, which wielded vary different weapons, shields, and technologies. Droyne often remain remarkably enigmatic or tight-lipped when these subjects are brought up by outsiders. Many sophontologists believe that a society-wide taboo exists against discussing the subject.
