- Sima is an ancient world, settled in the First Millennium of Star Flight by the Vilani pioneers as they reached out along the contorted single jump links of the Vilani Main. Sima, twenty-six jumps out, was an attractive world with a pleasant environment and biomes quickly overwhelmed by imported Vilani crops and livestock. The fact that there were no indigenes simplified the process, and the colonists soon settled into a comfortable existence. Later development of faster jump drives turned Sima into a backwater, self-sufficient and bypassed by mainstream society.
