Marquisate

A Marquisate is a noble's fief associated with one primary world (usually one of pre-industrial capability and a good starport).

Description (Specifications)

The land grant of a Landed Marquis will typically be the equivalent of 8 terrain hexes on various worlds spread across the subsector to which the fief-world belongs, and an equivalent number of terrain hexes on non-mainworlds within the same star systems as the associated hexes.

• A Marquisate may contain a specific land-grant of up to 1000 km² on the core world.
