Rigel

• It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Subsector P Subsector of Geerphli Sector.

The Rigel system lies within Geerphli Sector at the edge of the Orion OB1 Association. It is one of the four "Major Orion Worlds" in the sector along with 10 G. Orionis (Geerphli 0915), W Orionis (Geerphli 1415) and 140 G. Orionis (Geerphli 3101) (outside the Association).

Astrography and Planetology

The Rigel system is a Quinary Star System whose main central star (Rigel A) has a far trinary companion system (Rigel BC) and a distant solitary orange main-sequence companion (Rigel D).
