Nassin is a low population, fluidic hellworld of less than 10,000 sophonts struggling to survive in a inhospitable environment.
- A fluid world has an oceanic geography of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants.
- It is a member of the Rimward Federation in the Demon's Eye Subsector of Far Home Sector, which is part of the Distant Fringe.

Colber-Nassin System[edit]
The primary is Colber, an ordinary orange main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.284 Sols, a mass of 0.723 Sols, and a diameter of 1.073 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a trace atmosphere inner world, and (II) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world. (III) Nassin orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (IV) an exotic atmosphere hospitable world, (V) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (VI) a trace atmosphere iceworld, and (VII) a vacuum worldlet form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

(III) Nassin[edit]
(III) Nassin is designated the mainworld. It orbits Colber at a mean distance of 0.77 AU (115.2 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 290 days 6 hours and a rotation period of 25 hours. The axial tilt is 23 degrees. Nassin has a diameter of 10,333 km, a density of 4.69 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.69 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of its large close moon cause constant geological activity. Its atmosphere is rated as Exotic, with a mean surface pressure of 0.74 bar and a composition of 96% nitrogen (N2), 2% carbon dioxide (CO2), 1% argon (Ar), and 1% carbon monoxide (CO), abiotic oxygen (O2), water vapor (H2O), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 11% of the surface is covered in sheets of water-ice. Mean surface temperature: -23°C. The climate is rated as Cold and experiences moderate seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is active and moderate weather systems driven by the star sweep across the globe.
