Separate from the Imperial Army, Imperial Navy, and Imperial Marines, the Sardaukar were elite shocktroopers. Recruited from the ranks of Orks, they were loyal to the ruling Padishah Emperor first, House Corrino second, and the Fifth Imperium third.
