A hot drink brewed from the aromatic bark of the koreckak tree on the Dvorak (Hans 31040 . Jharrak is similar to coffee in that it has mildly stimulant properties, but it also produces a mild euphoric state. In the native language of Dvorak, jharrak literally means "aromatic happiness drink." A historical analog is chicory, a drink enjoyed on ancient Terra. Jharrak appears as a dark fluid indistinguishable from coffee, but has a distinctive woody scent.
