Bengal Class Carrier
The flagships of local squadrons, designed and built on Bain (world), these carriers are tiny by confederate standards. More than half of the crew are fighter pilots. They carry a single missile bay to bombard enemy targets. They carry a pair of small composite fighter squadrons and each is a blend of different designs. The hull is partially streamlined for gas giant refueling. A slightly obsolete Model 3 fib computer is installed. There is enough fuel on board for two jump 1s.

Javelin Destroyer
Too small to be a true destroyer, they are used to deliver a squad of marines where needed. This squad has drop capsules and a Grav APC for recovery. Four low berths are available for extra troops, for medical emergencies or for prisoners. The three triple turrets are grouped into two batteries. Two triple missile turrets fire as one battery and a triple beam laser turret is the other battery. They have several advantages over the larger slower carriers, they carry the Model 4 fib computers, have 6 G acceleration and 4 agility. The close structure hull is lightly armored and is equipped for wilderness refueling at gas giants.

Idris Frigate
This escort lacks the marines of the larger destroyer. Its two turrets are organized into three batteries of missile launchers and two batteries of plasma guns. There weapons are useless against heavily armored targets and they are used to shoot down missiles and fighters, in a close escort role. They are lightly armored and have a close, partially streamlined structure as well. They are fitted for gas giant refueling. All vessels in this squadron carry enough fuel for two Jump 1s. They have a Model 4 fib computer, 6 Gs acceleration and a 4 agility rating.

Polaris Corvette
This design is a lightly armored, streamlined cone structure. They are capable of ocean refueling. They carry a single triple laser turret, which fires as a single battery. The tiny crew suffers from less agility, because of the energy draw from the lasers and the Model 4 fib computer.

Starfarer Scout
This scout has a pair of crew members, and no defenses aside from its 3 agility rating. There is a single, triple missile turret for protection. The maneuver drive and power plant were reduced in size to fit into this smaller streamlined cone hull. It is equipped for ocean refueling and carries the Model 4 fib computer.

Retaliator Class Heavy Fighter
Equipped with a bridge and a small stateroom this single crew member has room, and enough life support capacity for long patrols and/or picket duty. They have a triple missile turret, and a Model 4 computer. They are capable of 6 G acceleration and have a 6 agility rating. Their armor is useful in dog fights and against ground fire on close air support missions, but offers little protection against critical hits and internal damage from large factor weapons. The streamlined cone structure can perform ocean refueling. These heavy fighters command and lead the small composite fighter squadrons.
