Razzun is a preindustrial hellworld with a population struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
- This world toils under the control of a military government with conditions reflecting that situation including curtailed civil rights and limited freedoms.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Kasear Subsector of Vland Sector in the Domain of Vland.
- This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.

Razzun (A572768–B) was under the control of the Imperial Navy prior to Dulinor's Rebellion. Now administered by the Ziru Sirkaa Navy (many of whom are the same people as before), Razzun is used as a minor Naval Depot while not being designated as one. Deep caches of various munitions, a suspected Deep Meson site, and more barracks capacity than the world has ever needed (supposedly) comprise the Navy's presence on the ground, with similar facilities to be found on other worlds in the system.
There is a significant population of locals on Razzun who are not Naval personnel, living in parts of the world the Navy does not use. Several cities with industrial capacity the Navy is happy to make use of dot the shores of the largest body of water here, along with the downport and primary ground-based Naval facility. The surface of Razzun is otherwise fairly dry, and dust clogs the heavy atmosphere. While this much air is unusual for a world this size, it is not unusual enough to excite investigation.
The Tourist business here is limited by the nature of the world, but does notably take advantage of prior Navy development. A massive wilderness park is located in the highlands near the main sea, featuring "the longest zipline in the subsector" (and three others), watersports, bicycle and walking paths, obstacle courses, and other outdoor activites. We found brochures for the Razzun Wilderness Experience as far away as Kasear.
Another world in an ancient system that has avoided the frequent fate of tidal locking, Razzun is subject to two similarly sized stars, orbiting each other in a stable but distant binary. This has served to keep either star from locking up their remaining worlds, though Razzun does have a relatively long day cycle and may still become locked in some distant future.
