Zirunkariish was founded by the noble Vilani family of Shiishuginsa in -425. Similar in structure and operation to the three original bureaux, Zirunkariish has established itself by serving markets often ignored by the three others.

Zirunkariish is one of the largest insurance underwriters in the Imperium, and while its capital reserves are gigantic, it usually chooses to invest them in various trusts rather than in other megacorporations.

This group provides services to the Imperial Family, other Noble families, and other families of high wealth holdings.

Central Bank Group

This group provides advisory and other services to various governmental banks throughout Charted Space.
The Imperium Team handles governmental bank clients within the Imperium.
The Extra-Imperial Team handles governmental bank clients outside the Imperium.

Precious Holdings Group

This group speculates in and provides services for storing, preserving, and disposing of precious metals, objects d'art, and other high value items.
The Sharurshid Team handles this Vilani megacorporation exclusively due to the volume of business.

Interface Group

This group provides internal services to the company relating to all non-client outward facing communications.
The Public Relations Team is the most well-known part of this group and is responsible for all press releases.
The Marketing Team is self explanatory.
The Corporate Reputation Team is responsible for ensuring the company's name and reputation remain in good standing, they are primarily a litigation organization.

This group provides all the banking services offered to the public.

In general, Zirunkariish shuns the concept of the wholly owned subsidiary. It prefers to bring in other minority investors, primarily the Imperial Family and the Zirunkariish controlling Shiishuginsa family. As a general corporation rule, these subsidiaries' employees are eligible for membership in the Zirunkariish Credit Union (ZirCU). These include:

Zirunkariish Credit Union (ZirCU)

  • Zirunkariish Credit Union (ZirCU): Technically, ZirCU is not a subsidiary in the traditional sense; it is a Credit Union with ownership lying with its members in the form of a financial cooperative. Membership is from amongst Zirunkariish employees, past and present; employee direct family members; and employees and their families of other Zirunkariish subsidiaries. That said, both Zirunkariish and the Shiishuginsa family want ZirCU to succeed as it is a valuable employment benefit and supports company loyalty. To that end, every member of the Shiishuginsa family participates as a member. Additionally, in exchange for a 10% equity holding in ZirCU each, Zirunkariish and the Shiishuginsa family retain a permanent seat on ZirCU's Board of Directors. This is to the exclusion of any other member of the Shiishuginsa family ascending to the Board, and prohibiting senior Zirunkariish executives from doing the same. ZirCU branches can be found wherever Zirunkariish or its subsidiaries have a presence. ZirCU ownership: 80% - ZirCU members, 10% - Zirunkariish, and 10% Shiishuginsa family.

Unlike most other Vilani megacorporations, whose origins are shrouded in mystery, Zirunkariish is known to have been founded by the noble Vilani family of Shiishuginsa (a member of which, Antiama, married the emperor Zhakirov in 679) in the year -425.

In 260, with the assistance of the Vilani megacorporation Zirunkariish, GSbAG bought the subsidiary Zhunastu Shipbuilding and its assets, especially its goodwill within the Imperium and its intellectual property, and folded it into its business. Under GSbAG, Zhunastu Shipbuilding remains a leader in ship design and construction for both military and civilian vessels.

Trade Partners

Most starships owned by Zirunkariish and the Shiishuginsa family are produced under contract by GSbAG (Zhunastu Shipbuilding). They are equipped with gravitics, reactionless thrusters, and inertial compensator systems by Arkayne LIC and with fusion rocketry systems by Phylum U'Chakzii-Ziask SIA.

Amsa (Lishun 0429): Zirunkariish maintains offices here that includes a trading clearing house that services its retired top executives. Zirunkariish, in a deal with Makhidkarun, built, operates, and maintains retirement facilities for its top executives on Amsa (Lishun 0429) for their health, including the Timer Club of Amsa LIC. Zirunkariish Healthcare System, LIC is responsible for the facilities on Amsa (Lishun 0429).
