Xenoarchaeology is the study of non-Terran history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the analysis of artifacts and other physical remains.
- Some scientists and academics insist on calling it Exoarchaeology.
Description (Specifications)
Xenoarchaeology, or xenoarcheology, is the study of non-Terran activity through the recovery and analysis of material culture. The archaeological record consists of artifacts, archeologicals, architecture, biofacts or ecofacts and cultural landscapes.
History & Background (Dossier)
Xenoarchaeology can be considered both a social science and a branch of Sophontology.
