Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Nexus Warspite class Intruder is a warship.
- It is a military ship and an Intruder Transport.
Description (Specifications)
Built to look like a civilian free trader, the ship's streamlined saucer hull is capable of atmospheric operations and is fitted with fuel scoops and on board fuel purification for ocean refueling. They are capable of 3G acceleration, and 3 agility. They carry enough internal fuel for jump 2 with a jump 1 escape reserve. They are fitted with jump 2 drop tanks for extended range operations. They mount a model 2 fib computer adjacent to the bridge.
The ship's weapon systems: A pair of nasty fusion guns and a trio of missile launchers are used for CAS and on demand ortillery.
The Nexus Warspite Class Intruders have seven naval crew; a pilot, 2 engineers, 3 gunners and a medic. They transport a team of nine operators into conflict zones for covert operations. Five drop capsules are provided for orbital insertion, and the rest of the team use a pair of special air rafts equipped for this sort of work. The small cargo bay is filled with mission support gear for these operators. They work directly for the central government, and have all had military service records which are sealed. None use their true identities, through modification and careful records deletions, they don't officially exist.

Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary.
