- The system is a member of the Solomani Confederation.
- First settled in -2222, Velscur was the first Selenite colony to undergo Paraterraforming, with its worldhouse completed by -1970.
- Today it is a Selenite world ruled by a feudal technocracy steeped in ritual and tradition.
