Utility Fog is a floating cloud of tiny machines that link and delink to form various solid objects.
- It's considerably more advanced than most of TL:13-15 Charted Space.

Description (Specifications)
Utility fog is composed of a myriad of tiny nanomachines working in conjunction. It's an experimental technology in much of Charted Space although working prototypes are rumored to be under observation on a number of worlds.
History & Background (Dossier)
According to historical records, an early version of utility fog was patented on Terra barely a few decades after their first manned spaceflight.
