Welcome to the Traveller Wiki! Thank you for your edits to the Campaign:SBRD Reavers' Deep article. If you have any questions or requests, please let me (and else who can help, all of whom like to help) know by posting on the Forum, on my discussion page, or the wiki discussion forum on CotI. Tracking down your questions

  1. There is a move article function which you should have access to, to correct any mistakes about naming articles. In the list of tabs at the top of the page there is a down pointing arrow to the left of the search box, hover your mouse over the arrow and select move. Follow the directions on the Move page.
  2. Deleting an article requires adding the {{Delete|<reason>}} template to the top of the article, so I can find it and remove it.
  3. I've updated the Campaign:SBRD Reavers' Deep/Library with the magic code to include the articles in alphabetical order. The category pages are special, in that the fact they exist is enough to generate the lists they contain. There are three ways of producing a list of pages, in order of preference they are:
    1. Special:PrefixIndex template - uses an internal function to produce a list of pages with a given page prefix, similar to the listing produced on the category pages. Useful for your case, but not so much in other cases.
    2. Dynamic Page List - an extension I've installed which is, essentially, a query generator for pages. On the Reaver's Deep Sector page, in the blue box on the right titled "91 Worlds in the Sector" is an example of the DPL in action. It's flexibility and power come at the cost of complexity.
    3. Manually - As you were trying. This is slow, error prone, gets out of date quickly, but is quick and easy.
  4. There is no way for either the Special:PrefixIndex template nor the category listings to strip off the prefix. (e.g. the "Campaign:SBRD Reavers' Deep/Library/" portion of the name).
  5. If you want an article to appear in a different alphabetical ordering on the category page, you need to include a parameter to the category tag in the article. For example, in the Devonia article use: [[Category: SBRD|Devonia]]. This will put the article under "D", and alphabetize it correctly.
  6. Please sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes: ~~~~.

Multiple minor edits

When you've written a new entry, you can use 'Show preview' to let you track down errors before posting for real. This will prevent having a dozen versions of each page listed on the recent changes page. Rancke (talk) 07:21, 6 September 2013 (EDT)
