Root category?[edit]

I am curious about what the purpose of the category: Root? Tjoneslo 01:39, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Hi. it provides a main basic category to enable users to find the major categories more easily.
until now, some categories were hard to find within the library category whiles others such as Category:Non-canon were not part of any over-arching category at all. no big deal, but at most wikis it's fairly routine to provide one unifying category which can group all major categories together, to enable easier searching for data. thanks. --Pulsar110 14:34, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
