Traveller player since 1981.
- My personal preference is for Classic Traveller. Although I do like the setting for Gurps: Interstellar Wars and Gurps: Traveller in general, I just don't like the rules too much.
- My collection of Traveller stuff is full of odd bits from before TNE. I have most of the TNE stuff but I lost interest with that version very quickly.
- T4 has two cool supplements Imperial Squadrons and Pocket Empires.
- Imperial Squadrons is one of my all time favorite supplements and has rules for building a Fifth Frontier War style game for any region of space.
- So when T5.00 came out I opted for the Duke option and got Tobia which makes me a sector Duke (IMTU).
- I also received a large number of Fiefdoms nearby Tobia. However, I'm not the guy described in the Mongoose publications, this is MTU!!!
After running up the stats, and some guess work, Duke Tobia has a sizeable fleet that he could conquer worlds with on his own.
- Looking at the map and thinking where to go first,
- Thus the Belgardian Sojurnate will be removed from the Imperial Map so that Tobia can have some more Zuchi Crystals for its fleets.
A few other worlds along the way may also fall victim. But not the Senlis Foederate.
- Now as for the Aslan.... They should not be so close the the Imperial Border, I think that the J-5 route will have to be cut, to keep the Ihatei at bay, while the rest are pushed out...
