The Unity of Sed 6T G-Carrier is a vehicle that is a gravcraft.
- It is a military vehicle and a Grav APC.
Description (Specifications)
Designed and manufactured at TL–12, for the Unity of Sed. These Grav APCs originate on Jaradin (world), and are used to support army and marine operations. The vehicle has a crew of three: driver, gunner and commander and can carry a squad of 12 troopers. These vehicles are deployed from a variety of naval vessels and fight in coordinated units with the Unity of Sed 3T Grav Tanks. Those vehicles locate targets for their counter battery fire missions. These vehicles are twice the volume of the grav tanks and are forced to fulfill the dual roles of self propelled guns and troop transports. They carry the same levels of armor protection as the smaller Grav Tanks, and as a result mass ~86 tons more, therefore are slower and more expensive as well. Unity Lift Infantry Platoons typically consist of two to three vehicles and 30-45 troopers. Rumors persist that this is a re-manufactured design dating back to the looted arsenals of the Corolian Jurisdicture.

Basic Vehicle Characteristics
Following the Imperial Army and IISS Universal Vehicle Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the vehicle when applicable. Tonnage on the universal vehicle profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary.

Unity of Sed 6T Grav APC, TL 12
The vehicle's superdense armor sheaths the chassis to levels of protection equivalent or superior to starship hull metal. This design is armed with an 18cm Hyper Velocity Mass Driver in a fully stabilized turret on the chassis deck. The vehicle is sealed with life support for 15 when used in vacuum and protected forces roles. It features a good balance between armor, weapons load and has good speed. Standard tactical employment involves deploying troops, often equipped with grav belts, which are slower than the APC. They immediately look for a secure location to set up for immediate indirect fire missions. The size of the ammunition precludes a high rate of fire. A decision was made to use the same fusion power plant as the Grav Tank, to lower costs and simplify field maintenance, which limited available power for the rates of fire mass drivers are capable of. They trust the Grav Tanks to provide over-watch point defense while they batter distant targets with artillery missions. The surprise is that the size and obscene velocity of the main gun rounds can defeat most light vehicles and even some tanks if not attacking head on. The HEAP 51 round has excellent performance versus less well armored targets in a direct fire role out to 5km, even better at extreme 65km range as a laser guided artillery round striking from above against traditionally thinner deck armor. These APCs routinely spot for one another, and their low tech on-board fire direct center means that they can coordinate their own fire missions without the oversight of a higher chain of command. The sensor suite of the Grav Tanks is customized to provide excellent accuracy in the dedicated counter battery role. The complexity of the weapon systems and the electronics suite require at least three trained and equipped technical personnel be assigned to each vehicle if proper maintenance is to be performed.
Chassis:
- Height: 1.75m (+1m Turret); Width: 4m; Length: 10m.
- Total usable volume: 84m³
- Total mass loaded: 243.40564 metric tons
- Hull Material: Superdense
- Armor: Chassis and turret front 56, chassis and turret sides 48, chassis and turret rear, belly and deck 40.
- Target Size DMs: +3 low, +1 high hits

- Weapons Off mode: Maximum, 720kph / 600cm; Cruise, 540kph/ 450cm, NOE 150kph/125cm.
- Movement effect on fire: None
Weapons:
Full weapons stabilization. The vehicle can not conduct indirect fire missions while moving.
Turret Mounted 18cm Hyper Velocity Mass Driver
This weapon has a 4.5225 MW input, and is a dual role design and is fitted with TL–11 indirect fire control AND TL–10 direct fire control. It can engage a single target per firing phase and has +0 signature. The ROF is 2 and the weapon requires 13.5 turns to set up for indirect fire missions. The weapon has +2 accuracy up to 32.5km and -2 up to 65km. There is storage for 100 rounds. Rounds mass 45kg, 80 HE and/or smoke rounds and 20 HEAP rounds are included in the price.
